What is your earliest tennis memory?
Getting a racquet for Christmas when I was 10 years old.
How, where, and when did you start playing?
I started playing in Esterhazy, SK, where I grew up. There were 2 outdoor courts by the golf course and we would play most days after golfing.
What made you decide to choose tennis?
I was initially drawn to tennis because of its difficulty to master. I enjoy the challenge and I never get tired of training.
Your biggest inspiration and why?
Chris “Cowboy” Pearson. After my injury he was the first person in a wheelchair to visit me in the hospital. He gave me a lot of support and through his positivity and good nature he helped change my mentality about my disability very early on in my recovery. He introduced me to parasports which has changed my life.
Favourite sport other than tennis?
Rugby
Family, what do they do and how have they impacted your tennis career?
My mom has always been my biggest supporter. From driving me to hockey rinks all over Saskatchewan or golf tournaments when I was growing up, to now coming watch to my tennis matches all around the world.

I don’t know if it’s a super power, but I wish I could time travel.

I lived in southeast Asia for over 2 years.

If you weren’t playing tennis, what would you be doing?
Trying to make the national wheelchair rugby team.
Other than tennis, what are you most passionate about?
Travelling the world, live music, having as much fun as possible.
