CANADA IS RETURNING TO THE DAVIS CUP FINALS

In February during the Qualifiers stage, Team Canada presented by Sobeys defeated the Republic of Korea 3-1 at IGA Stadium in Montreal to book their place in the Davis Cup Finals for the fifth straight year. Since the Davis Cup format changed in 2019, Canada has participated in the Finals every year. Each of the last two years, they have advanced out of the Group Stage into the Final 8 knockout stage.

In March, it was revealed at the draw that Canada will be playing out of Group D alongside Argentina, Finland, and Great Britain in Manchester, United Kingdom, at AO Arena from September 10-15, 2024. Félix Auger-Aliassime (Montreal, QC), Denis Shapovalov (Richmond Hill, ON), Milos Raonic (Thornhill, ON), Vasek Pospisil (Vernon, BC), and Gabriel Diallo (Montreal, QC) will represent Team Canada at the event.
