In addition to his prowess as a tennis player (he was a Maritimes Provincial Champion and a nine-times Ottawa Champion as well as winner of many other Canadian and U.S. titles), Ed was an outstanding track and field man and skier, and was actually a member of the 1932 Canadian Olympic team for skiing (he was also Canadian Cross Country Champion),” Lawrence F.
